GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We wish you a warm welcome and to inform you about our general terms and conditions and privacy statement.

Los Chozones is officially registered with the Junta de Andalucia Consejeria de Turismo, Casa Rural CR/MA/02345.

1. GENERAL 1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of Finca Los Chozones. 1.2 By entering into a reservation request or reservation, you as a guest of Los Chozones  agree to the General Terms and Conditions. 1.3 The minimum stay is 5 nights unless by prior agreement. 1.4 Check-in is from 1500 to 2100, check-out is from 0800-1100. This can be deviated from in consultation. Later check-in is possible, however after 23.00 we charge € 20.00. Late departures can be agreed if the room is not booked. There is a fee of 15€. No refunds will be made in case of early departure. 1.5 Smoking is not allowed on site. 1.6 Pets are not allowed. 1.7 Los Chozones accommodation is for adults only, the minimum age is therefore 18 years. The exception is if you rent both our rooms and or with prior agreement.  1.8 Guests can park their car in the private car park. Parking is always at your own risk. 1.9 Guests must have a permanent place of residence or residence. 1.10 The owners of Los Chozones can deny and/or refuse access to the accommodation with immediate effect in the event of violation of the general terms and conditions and/or the house rules or in the event of inappropriate behaviour, without further notice and reasons and without reimbursement of accommodation costs. 1.11 Los Chozones reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. You accept and acknowledge as binding the terms and conditions in effect at the time you use the website and facilities of Los Chozones.

2. RATES 2.1 The rates shown are per room, per night for two people. There are variations on rates using other platforms. It is your responsibility to choose the right platform to ensure the best price. 2.2 The rates shown include the use of water, electricity, air conditioning and bath & bed linen. We would appreciate if you do not use water and air conditioning unnecessarily. 2.3 The rates shown include VAT (or similar tax) according to the VAT rate applicable at that time. 2.4 The rates shown do not include the use of the honesty bar and other services offered by Los Chozones. 2.5 The rates shown are exclusive of the costs of cancellation and travel insurance. We advise you to take out cancellation and travel insurance. 2.6 The rates shown are subject to price changes.

3. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION 3.1 A reservation request or reservation can be made verbally, by telephone, in writing, by e-mail or via booking sites. 3.2 After receipt of your reservation request and the confirmation, you are bound to pay the deposit. The reservation is only final when you have received a confirmation from us and the deposit has been paid.

4. PAYMENT 4.1 The deposit is 50 % of the total cost, when the deposit is received, the reservation is final. The balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. 4.2 When booking within 4 weeks before arrival, the total amount of the stay must be paid immediately. 4.3 The deposit and balance must be transferred to IBAN: ES5400810676550002346739 or by using the payment instructions on the platform you use. 4.4 Other costs for the honesty bar and the like should preferably be paid in cash or by debit or credit card before departure. Prices can be found at the honesty bar.

5. CANCELLATION 5.1 Cancellations are only accepted in writing or by e-mail, stating your reservation details. 5.2 If the reservation agreement is cancelled, the following cancellation costs will be charged: In addition to the reservation and other costs owed, the following applies: the deposit is non refundable unless more than 60 days notice of cancellation is made and there will be a 10% admin charge of the total transaction. There will be no refunds with less than 30 days notice.

6. FORCE MAJEURE 6.1 In case of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, Los Chozones is entitled to dissolve or temporarily suspend the agreement in whole or in part, without the guest being able to claim fulfilment and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc., including full or partial fulfilment of the agreement in reasonableness and fairness cannot be required of the accommodation. Of course we will do everything we can to provide you with a new home at that time. If you do not wish to make use of this, the paid costs will be credited to you.

7. LIABILITY 7.1 Los Chozones cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay in the accommodation; the guest indemnifies Finca Los Chozones against claims in this regard. Los Chozones is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation, such as malfunctions and failures of power and water supplies and technical installations, construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the accommodation that have not been announced or are untimely announced. Los Chozones is not liable for damage, loss or theft of personal belongings of the guest. 7.2 Los Chozones can only be held liable for damage due to the gross negligence or negligence of the owners. 7.3 The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Los Chozones cannot be held liable for physical injury or damage to personal property due to its use.

8. DAMAGE 8.1 The guest must behave properly and use the accommodation in accordance with the reasonable instructions for use given by the accommodation or the owners. 8.2 The main guest is legally liable for the damage caused by him or his fellow guests to Los Chozones or the objects or persons present therein. 8.3 A claim must be reported directly to the owners by the guest. Repair and or replacement costs must be reimbursed by the guest. 8.4 In the event of loss of keys, all resulting costs will be charged to the guest.

9. PRIVACY STATEMENT We will respect your privacy at all times. We must register you on arrival with the local police. We do this using a check/scan platform that sends the information. It is unlawful not to register you. We apologise for this but we must follow these guidelines.
