Things To Do

If you are happy to drive its just 35 minutes each way through Andalusias rolling countryside what awaits is spectacular. When you drive we find its easier to arrive at the end on the south side, get the bus to the beginning where there is a 20 minute walk to the entrance. Arrive an hour earlier than your entrance time (at least) to give you time for a bus and walk. Parking otherwise is more restricted at the beginning and when you finish the walk (about 2.5 hours) you then have to walk and queue for the bus and 20 minutes before you reach your car. You can also vary the journey back through different villages if you are on the south side.
Tickets
You can go with tour companies and they will charge between 55 -100€ per person. DO NOT pay this!
General tickets are best at only 10€ per person. Guided visits are more restrictive and are 15€.
The reason many people have to use tours is that they snap up the tickets as soon as they are available.
Speak to us! We can try and get you the tickets.
Getting there
Los Chozones will take guests but it depends on time. We will pick you up at the end and then we stop at a traditional Spanish restaurant or a place you choose. It takes the hassle out of the day thats for sure.
We charge 100€ for up to 4 people. (This does not include tickets).
To be honest the drive is lovely. Its relatively easy to find and roads are good (albeit a little windy). If you have time and you don’t mind its easy enough to do yourself and we will help in any way we can.
BE AWARE!
Please take water! Especially in the summer months. There are toilets at the entrance but there are none on the walk.
A mountainside white village
One of the most visited villages (pueblo) in Spain and for good reason. High up and breathtaking views. Lots of craft and leather shops. Great restaurants and bars. Definitely another must do and only 20 minutes away.

The nearest golf course is Alhaurin Golf. There are many courses on the Costa del Sol. This area is famous for golf and when you play a few of the courses you will see why. All beautiful and some very challenging! We are very central which gives you lots of choice!
If you want something special, whether it be a super yacht out of Puerto Banus, Whale watching, a trip to Tangiers or a guided tour of a vineyard, wine tasting in Ronda then Montse Vidal is the person to help you.
She is Spanish and very knowledgeable she will also make your day super nice and accompanies all tours.
Special occasions…let me speak to her and put you in touch. We have been friends a few years. Highly recommended.

Buggy and Segway tours. For the biggest of smiles! The first is a little more placid but great fun, the second, well, you won’t stop smiling!
Let us know and we can check on availability/price.
Sunview Park Adventures is only 20 minutes drive from Los Chozones offering the longest Super Zip Line in Andalusia.

This is a beautiful part of the Costa del Sol and has grown from a small fishing village into a popular tourist hot spot. It has a walkway that is well built and flat. You’re able to walk all the way to Cabapino and back and its covers about 16km in total. There are numerous chiringuitos (beach bars) and great restaurants and bars. The beach is stunning and if you walk towards Cabapino along the boardwalk you will find some lovely quiet spots. Its an easy drive from the finca and takes about 25 minutes.
Nearby is an Olive Oil (Aceite) Shop, Museum and factory. Its VERY interesting and as you will be in the centre of the Olive Oil producing its well worth a visit and only 5 minutes drive away. If you want Oil or Fresh honey please speak to me prior to your visit and I can obtain these for you. Natural and VERY good!
We have lemon, orange, dates, pomegranate, grapes, apples and pear trees. If they are in season you are welcome to help yourself (don’t take them all!).
The town of Coin and Alhaurin El Grande are just 10 minutes drive away. They both have numerous restaurants and bars ranging from 1€ for tapas to some incredibly good fish and meat restaurants. There’s also a great Indian restaurant in Coin. There’s La Troche, a large indoor shopping centre, Aldi, Lidle, Mercadona and CarreFour Supermarkets are also in Coin.
